Review & Logbook
Review keeps the system trusted for future work. Logbook preserves a view of completed actions. One looks forward; the other looks back.
Daily Review
Each day, check:
- Inbox items that need clarification today
- Overdue, Today, and the next few days in Schedule
- Whether Next Actions remain clear and executable
- Whether Waiting For needs a follow-up
- Whether flags still represent current focus
Pause, cancel, or move stale items to Someday / Maybe instead of leaving them falsely active.
Review Projects Queue
An active, non-folder project enters Review Projects when its review date arrives. The oldest due review appears first.
Every project can have a review interval. Completing a review advances its next review date. It does not complete the project.
Review Each Project
- Is the outcome still worth pursuing?
- Is the title a clearly finishable result?
- Are project type and action order correct?
- Is there at least one available concrete action?
- Is anything waiting, deferred, paused, or stale?
- Are due dates, plans, tags, and notes still accurate?
- Should the project be completed, canceled, paused, or split?
Weekly Review Checklist
- Process the Inbox.
- Look back through the last week’s calendar and Logbook for uncaptured follow-ups.
- Look ahead two to four weeks.
- Work through Review Projects.
- Check Waiting For and Someday / Maybe.
- Remove stale flags, tags, and filters.
- Confirm every key project has an executable next step.
This is recommended practice, not an enforced app workflow. Adapt the interval to your work.
Logbook
Logbook shows completed tasks that have a completion date, grouped by day and month. It helps answer what you finished and when.
Logbook is not a backup or a full audit trail. Deletions, ordinary field edits, and records without a completion date are not guaranteed to appear as complete history.
Insights on Mac
Mac Insights is a read-only analysis based on usage events. It includes completed count, completion rate, daily average, active streaks, an activity heatmap, throughput trends, and breakdowns by project, weekday, time of day, and tag.
Completion Rate uses closed tasks—Completed plus Canceled—relative to tasks created. It is not a quality score or a personal performance grade. The first visit may need time to prepare historical statistics.
Mac
Insights is currently a Mac-only surface. iPhone and iPad can still review work through Schedule, Logbook, and Custom Filters.
